Dust and wind don’t impede Patriots in win

In blustery conditions that spewed dust and runs in the face of Berkeley Springs it was Washington defeating the Lady Indians, 10-0, in a three-run mercy rule softball game.

Devin Williams authored the three-inning blanking of the visitors.

Washington had nine hits in helping move its overall record to 7-6. Christina Collins went 3-for-3 for the Patriots. She scored three times. Alycia Lambert also had a 3-for-3 afternoon for the winning Patriots. She scored three runs

Williams improved her record 5-2 and allowed the Indians only two hits.
