Preserving the past for future generations

The Jefferson County Historic Landmark Commission received a $5,600 Historic Preservation Survey and Planning Grant at the State Capitol on March 1.К The grant, presented by Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin and Danielle LaPresta, the new executive director of Preservation Alliance of West Virginia, will be used to host a statewide preservation conference in September, 2012.
