Eight Class AA girls basketball players were selected by the West Virginia Sports Writers Association to its first-team, all-state squad.     Those eight players were Presley Parsons (Lincoln), Hope Lester (Westside), Payden Eckleberry (Oak Glen), Deidre Burch (Berkeley Springs), Krista Maynard (Tolsia), Jacee Markle (Clay County), Candace Brown (Summers County), and Makenzie White (Scott).
