Shepherd football signs additional 14 players

SHEPHERDSTOWN— Shepherd has announced another 14 football recruits have signed letters-of-intent with the school.

High school players from Maryland were wide receiver Michael Wingard (Gwynn Park High), defensive back Tre’vaughn Sullivan (Gwynn Park High), defensive back Tony Squirewell (Bishop McNamara High), tight end Olumide Sokoya (Long Reach High), defensive end Shaneil Jenkins (Suitland High), and defensive back Carlton Davis (South Hagerstown High).

The players from Virginia include tight end/defensive end Matthew Wood (Patrick Henry of Roanoke), tight end Michael Reaves (W.T. Woodson High), lineman Hunter VanMeter (Sherando High), and defensive back/wide receiver Boomer Kaczmarzewski (Millbrook High).

Ben Mitchell is an offensive tackle from Altoona High.

From West Virginia schools are lineman Daniel Berry (Morgantown High), linebacker Tyrek Collier (Washington High), and defensive lineman Josh Harwood (Martinsburg High).
