Mending Wall

Robert Wilson, left, and Dwight Dofflemyer, of Wyand Masonry in Keedysville, Md., work to repair the retaining wall around the Jefferson County Courthouse on Tuesday. Some sections of the wall are being rebuilt, and others are getting re-mortared. The repairs were necessitated by years of freezing and thawing water, which had caused the wall to bulge in some places.
