The breakfast meal of pancakes, whole hog sausage, gravy and eggs got under way at the fire hall at 6 a.m. and ran until 7 p.m. About 680 people were served by 10 a.m., said company volunteer Marty Braithwaite, who noted between 1,600 and 1,800 people usually attend the fundraiser.
