Kearneysville Presbyterian is located at the intersection of Rt. 480 and old Rt. 9. The church was dedicated on March 9, 1869.
Members of Kearneysville Presbyterian Church continue to meet in the original building used after the congregation’s formation in 1869. The church is located at the corner of Rt. 480 and old Rt. 9 in Kearneysville.
The church was established to secure the preaching of the Gospel and Sabbath School instruction for the spiritual edification of themselves, their families and their neighbors.
Emphasizing the sovereignty of God, the authority of the Scriptures, and the necessity of grace through faith in Christ, the services are preached from the Bible and how the Scriptures relate to today. Services feature joyful singing and music.
