Walls going up for area’s newest retailer

CHARLES TOWN — There’s a Tractor Supply store in Charles Town’s future.  A new, nearly 20,000-square-foot retail store, which is expected to open in the spring, is part of the ongoing development of the 40-acre Windmill Crossing complex. The center promises to bring an added mix of residential and commercial projects to the U.S. 340 corridor.
Construction on the building began on Friday.
About eight to 12 full-time jobs are expected to result from the $40 million Tractor Supply project, according to Keith Carter, account executive
for Bunnell Hill Development Co., Inc. which is developing the site.
